Qualifying Criteria:

Smokers who want to quit smoking by learning to walk or run. You are eligible for the contest if you are:

  • A current smoker or commercial tobacco user, or someone who quit within the last two months
  • Have smoked at least 100 cigarettes in your life
  • Are a resident of Canada
  • And are the age of majority in the province where you applied or older at the time of registration

Walk or Run to Quit can help you quit smoking by learning to walk or run 5 km! The program is for all fitness levels and our simple step by step approach makes it easy to quit smoking by becoming more active. Walking and running can help cope with discomfort and cravings while cutting down and quitting smoking. 

The Virtual Training Program offers online running and quit smoking support from a Running Room coach. Register for Walk or Run to Quit and you will be entered into our contest. Quit smoking by the contest target date, and stay quit for at least 5 weeks and you can win a 10.5-inch iPad Pro! See website for more details.
